David is a spoken word fanatic. He absolutely loves the challenge of bringing a text to life. What's more, he finds the process is always exciting and new. He has been a musician and singer for most of his life and has had the privilege of being recorded for a variety of projects. It was on one such occasion that he was asked to read a small part for a radio commercial. Well, his life changed at that moment. He had never done anything in his life that gave him such a strong sense of having been made for a specific purpose. This experience impacted David so significantly that he embarked on a journey that led him to take many voiceover classes and ultimately landed him with a private voiceover coach. He quickly discovered that telling a story was much more than having a great voice. That first experience was back in 2001. Since that time he has sought to hone his craft and concurrently pursued the knowledge he would need to set up a studio in his home. David's love of fine acoustic guitars poured over into a love of fine German microphones. He feels blessed to have some of the finest studio equipment right there in his home. He also writes an occasional jingle and finds joy in voicing just about any spoken word project, but his love of narration is sort of a bedrock in his quest for voicing excellence.


While David has worked quite hard to develop his skills, he truly believes that what he has is a gift and not merely a talent. As such, he can sometimes be quite selective about the projects in which he engages. He prefers when possible to participate in projects that enrich the lives of the listeners.
